Brandi - Maternity
I love photographing mommas-to-be. Brandi and I decided snowy, beautiful images were the goal but unfortunately, Mother Nature and Nebraska weather didn’t quite agree with us. Instead, we got beautiful, sunlit, last of the fall season images and I am so glad we did. Sometimes Nebraska weather is on top of things even when I don’t originally agree with what she does. :)
This is why the “Golden Hour” is so important to photographers - love, love, love the sun flares I can get!
I am literally on my belly shooting up to get this shot - I really need to work on my behind-the-scenes images to show the many ways photographers go to get the right angle!
I had so many twigs and pine needles in my hair throughout this session but I would do almost anything to get the perfect shot - especially back up into a pine tree….
Bit of a “Peeping Tom” moment but I just love how the branches frame Brandi.
All my maternity sessions have the option of including mom’s partner!

I am glad we did get Brandi’s photoshoot in when we did and didn’t keep putting it off hoping for the snow to come down because her little one decided she wanted out super early. Less than 3 weeks after these images were created, little baby Emma decided she was ready for the world! Be on the lookout for her newborn images!!
